Congratulations to Alex & Ross in your win over Rod & Keith.
From the start, the game was destined to be a challenge and a spectacle.
Rod & Keith broke away to an early lead despite best efforts by Alex & Ross.
By mid way through the game, Alex & Ross had started to reign in the deficit and managed to gain the lead with a few ends to go.
That wasn't the end for Rod & Keith though (as you'd expect from Keith who never says die) and a rally by them bought the final score to 21 to 20.
A great game to watch.
Well done.

Congratulations to Alex and Ross in the win over David & Peter in today’s semi-final. I wasn’t there for most of the match, returning to the club to see the last couple of ends only. All I can say is that if what I saw in those couple of ends was representative of the game, then I’m sorry I missed it. The accuracy was superb.
Next week is the final between Rod & Keith and Alex & Ross.
Today’s match final score was resounding win by A. Stewart/R. Tinmouth 33 def. D. Couch/J. Leonard 16.
Great match played in good spirit.
Close early on but from about 13th end, Ross and Alex on song and unstoppable.
Congratulations boys.
Next week is the semi-final.
Congrats Alex & ‘Ros’ but what was the score Dallas?
The draw also has not been updated…..
Score was 19:13 in favor of Alex & Ross over Norm & Ken as shown on the draw.
The next game (25/8) will complete round 3 games ready for semi final 1/8.
The delay is a result of dispensation granted for Ross playing in the ‘Champion of Champions Pairs’ with Aaron when round 2 was programmed to play.
Message:
I would like to congratulate Dallas on all the effort he puts into this website/blog.
We all have busy lives BUT the time taken to put up results and news on such a regular basis is indeed a credit to him. Obviously we as members need to supply new information (or correct information in my case) with photos where possible ASAP, so Dallas’ job can be updated more quickly and then posted on the site. Well done Dallas. . . . Max Walters
Congratulations to Alex & Ross in their grinding victory against Norm & Ken. The game was always in doubt up to the last end or two with both sides fighting to hold onto any shots they could pick up.
The weather had less impact in this game with weaker wind and less gusty conditions than what last week’s contestants had to contend with.
All players demonstrated what this competition is all about – the best of the club playing against the best of the club.
Next week is the quarter final match with Alex & Ross up against Don Couch & John Leonard for a place in the semi-final.
