First off this morning, the second semi-final match had Gary Tyrell & Rod Gamble match skills against Gerard D'Costa & John Leonard. This was a closely fought match with ultimate winners Gary & Rod winning 26 to 25.
After a short lunch break, Gary & Rod took to the green again, this time against Keith Robinson and David Wilson (winners of first semi-final). The scores early on went point for point with scores 5 each after 5 ends. Keith & David made a small break to be 14:10 on 14 ends. From there Gary & Rod pressed hard to peg back the lead. After 19 ends, the scoreboard read 20:12 with Gary & Rod needing 8 level the score.
