2014 Major Singles Semi-Finals 30th March

Two very fine matches played today in hot and sticky conditions saw Warren Phillips defeat Ross Fitzpatrick (31/20) and Peter Eagle defeat John Leonard (31/19) to progress to the Major Singles final.

Both Warren and Peter got early leads and maintained those leads throughout their matches with consistent and precise bowling. Peter finishing very strongly in the last quarter of the game to head off John who had bowled very strongly to challenge the Major champion finalist of previous years.

Great effort by Ross who bowled extremely well but found the President in great form.

Congratulations to Warren and Peter.
