Ably led by side manager Kevin Tuckerman, the fives lead section one of their grade after an opening round triumph over Denistone Sports, with the boys from WPH claiming 6 points to 0 after a gutsy 76-43 win.

The Hoffman Hornets buzzed out to any early lead and managed to stay there throughout the whole match. Outstanding effort from an outstanding line up.

The Rod Foster Rockets had a tough game on their hands with the lead changing several times throughout the afternoon. In the end, the boys from WPH proved their mettle taking the win on the last end 17-16.

The Kevin Tuckerman Kings engaged in what the writer would describe as "champagne lawn bowls". After a rough start, the boys combined magnificently in the closing stages of the game to take the win 27-15.
