Congratulations to Ross Fitzpatrick, Ian Corke and David Wilson on becoming our 2017 Triples Champions.
The final was between Ross Fitzpatrick, Ian Corke and David Wilson and David Polley, David Roles (substituting for Ken Henry) and Mal Horner. The game was played under miserable grey skies and a fairly constant drizzle of rain. This made the green heavy and very narrow.
The first two ends provided a jovial start to the game with both skips being helped by friendly wicks. On the first end, David's team were holding four shots before Mal put down a drive which, with the help of one of the shorter bowls on the rink, straightened right up to go through and pick up the jack and take it down the back for three shots. On the second end, David was down when he went to the head but with the help of a "Mal Horner Special", he got a wick into the head and collected one of Ross's bowls on the way through to pick up two.
David's team went on to win the next seven ends straight to lead the game 11-3 after eight ends. Then the rain stopped. And the green dried out a bit. And Mal's team came right back into the game. Over the next eight ends, Mal's team won six ends and took nine shots with both David Polley and David Roles getting "in the zone" during this period of the game.
The key turning point in the game however was the 17th end with the scores 14-12 to David's team. Seeing Mal's team catch up so quickly must have frightened David's team into action as they hit straight back after dropping a three to pick up a four. This put the scores at 18-12 with four ends to play.
Ends 18, 19, and 20 came and went without much fanfare with each team restricting the other to a single shot which saw the scores at 20-13 to David's team going into the last end.One should not take medicine tadalafil canada online with other sexual enhancer pill for getting over unpleasant sexual dysfunction condition. viagra free sample Should you're into highly developed organizing, you, or your partner, can measure your penile girth, or approximate how numerous of the fingers bunched collectively equal the thickness of my hair all over the head.
