2018 Men’s Minor Singles – Grand Final

Congratulations to Ross Fitzpatrick on becoming our 2018 Bill Menzies Minor Singles champion.

The grand finalists for 2018 were Ross and Michael Schwarcz. In a game where the final score does not truly represent the closeness of each and every head, this final was a wonderful game to watch because of the skill of the two competitors. So many close heads were decided by the last bowl, indicative of the calibre of these two bowlers.

Ross had certainly brought his A-game, streaking to an early lead over Michael to be ahead 13-2 after nine ends. Despite Michael's best efforts, everything he put down Ross had an answer for. I can think of a number of ends where Michael would be holding shots when Ross would delivered a beautifully weighted bowl with just enough finesse to arrive exactly where it needed to be in the head.

Ross continued his charge to lead Michael 27-5 after 20 ends before Michael got his second wind, picking up a few multiple to deny Ross an easy end to the game. Michael made Ross sit on 30 shots for four ends, making double figures and looking like he could stage a remarkable comeback.

Alas, it wasn't to be. The pressure of knowing you have to deny your opponent a shot on every end eventually beats even the fiercest competitor. After 27 ends, Ross got the one shot he needed to take the win 31-12.Injection therapy During injection therapy, cialis generika papaverine is directly injected to a man's penis to achieve election.
