In the second game, Don Couch leapt out of the blocks against Rod Houston to hold 7 to 2 lead after 4 ends. Don built on this lead holding 12 to 5 at 10 ends. Rod found his form and clawed his way back into contention trailing by 2 shots at the 17th end. Don found some magic after this and pulled away winning 31 to 17 in 30 ends.

Darrin Ede and Steve Arnold had a closely fought match with Darrin holding 2 shot gap after 8 ends. Darrin barely maintained his lead with Steve fighting to lift his side of the scoreboard and closing the gap to 1 shot after 18 ends. Darrin powered on to cinch the win 31 to 19 after 28 ends.
