Bowls Christmas Party 2016

Once again, all members were treated to a yuletide assault on the senses at our annual bowls Christmas party. At the helm was MC extraordinaire Max Walters, resplendent in Christmas Hawaiian shirt and mismatched musical Christmas tie. Max opened with a joke, quickly demonstrating that his humour has not improved since last year's event.

Lunch was a traditional roast (Pork or Lamb) with Christmas Pudding or Ice Cream for dessert. Both meals were absolutely delicious and a real credit to Joey and his team for putting together such a first class meal.

Max kept everyone entertained with trivia (Max's table won for the second year in a row. I'm not saying it's rigged but...), a screwing competition and a live floor show featuring Dusty Springfield and her back up dancers (Lusty, Rusty and Busty).

President Anne and I then presented the Mixed Championship trophies and the Barry walker Classic Pairs. Congratulations to our 2016 Champions:
