BUSY LADIES

Two ladies from WPH Sports Ladies Bowling section have been really busy playing bowls these past two weeks and enjoying it. “ How do I know? because they told me so.”

Margaret Sawyer and Lorraine Singh have been playing in the Northern Suburbs District Pairs and though it seemed a long time, they reached the final of their section and were only just beaten by Asquith ladies, Jackie Wilson and Anne Hedger. Both teams played extremely well and Margaret and Lorraine as well as the spectators were very happy, saying our ladies played really good bowls.

Lorraine has also been playing in the Mixed events run by WPH men on Wednesdays  and along with Margaret they will be participating in the Wattle Carnival being held at Pennant Hills on Monday 24th July.
