On Saturday 28th May, the Major Pairs Championship was played. The two teams consisted of Chuck Fung and Darrin Ede, and the father and son team of Wayne Ede and Jim Ede.
The first 4 Ends saw both teams winning two Ends each with Wayne and Jim leading 3 shots to 2. However, over the next nine Ends Chuck and Darrin won every End except one. The score was now Darrin 16 shots to Wayne 4 shots. On the 14th End Wayne and Jim decided to fight back and won the next to Ends adding 4 shots to their score.
Although Wayne and Jim added another 6 shots to their score by the 21st End, it just wasn’t enough. Chuck and Darrin won the game with a final score of 23 shots to 14.
