2016 Event Calendar
The 2016 calendar has now been released and is up on the Koala Blog. Following your feedback at the AGM, the calendar will be provided to members in our members booklet as a separate card. This will allow it to be updated if required.
2016 Pennants
In line with the recommendation of the Competition Panel, West Pennant Hills will contest three grades next year. We will submit to the Zone the three teams in Grade 5, 6 and 7.
2015 Christmas Party
Even though the day was most enjoyable for all members, I appreciate many members were disappointed with the standard of the meal. In the days following, I wrote to the Sports Club CEO Jason Read to advise your Management Committee had resolved to take this event to a new venue in 2016. A copy of my letter to Mr Read is available here. I am pleased to advise the restaurant was very receptive to the feedback and I will be able to provide members with their response shortly.
Game Start Times
Recently some members have been turning up late for bowls or in some cases not at all. It is imperative that members turn up on time for bowls or advise the selectors as soon as possible if they are not attending. West Pennant Hills is delighted to welcome back Pacific Hills Christian School who will commence a six week season from 4 February 2016.
