Lawn bowls is a great game and we want everyone to have to opportunity to discover this. West Pennant Hills will hold its first open day of 2017 on Sunday 2 April between 10.30am and 3pm. Please come along to the club with your family and friends for an enjoyable day out. A free light lunch will be provided for all those who join us. Please save the date in your diaries now. Water Fountain
Members may have noticed that the old water fountain has been removed. I am advised the refrigeration unit was broken beyond repair. A new unit has been ordered and will be installed shortly. The water coolers will be used in the interim.
Sports Club Website

Championships
The first championship of the 2017 year will be the Bill Menzies Minor Singles. Entries are now open with a sheet on the board in the Sports Room. Entries close 27 January 2017.
Zone 10 Junior Academy
The Zone Executive recently opened expressions of interest for a Zone 10 Club to host the Junior Academy. Your Management Committee will be making a submission with the support of the Sports Club. This is a great opportunity for our club as it brings new and enthusiastic players to our club and guarantees inter-zone Junior games throughout the year would be held at WPH.
Tasmania Tour
Your Management Committee sends its best wishes for a safe but enjoyable trip to our members travelling to Tasmania this month. I know that all members will represent our Section well. Thank you to Tour Coordinators Jeremy Thiedeman and Max Walters for their efforts.
