Yesterday, I emailed this update to all members to inform them of the decisions taken by your Management Committee at our last meeting. This is a new initiative of mine with one of these updates to follow every Management Committee meeting to ensure members remain informed. Many of the decisions taken at our last committee meeting pertain to actions requested by members at our last Annual General Meeting.
Members survey
I am delighted that more than half of the Section responded to the members survey. We received 58 responses which gave your Management Committee vital information on how you bowl, why you bowl and what we can do to enhance the bowling experience at West Pennant Hills.
The survey also asked whether our uniform should be changed from white/cream pants to blue pants. 67% of respondents voted in favour of maintaining our current uniform. However, your Management Committee has agreed to revisit this issue in 12 months time.

2016 Event Calendar
The 2016 calendar has now been released and is up on the Koala Blog. Following your feedback at the AGM, the calendar will be provided to members in our members booklet as a separate card. This will allow it to be updated if required.
Jack Attack / New Coaching Bowls
Your Management Committee has invested in new coaching bowls for members and new bowlers. The new Aero bowls wear the WPH insignia. We have also purchased a new 'Jack Attack' kit for use during open days, corporate events with younger bowlers and potentially during the twilight bowls season.
Members will also see changes to the locker room with additional lockers being purchased for the storage of the new coaching bowls. This will also allow for new lockers to be rented out to members.
Upcoming events
I am pleased to advise the 2015 Presentation Day Ceremony will be held on Saturday 5 December 2015 and the combined bowls Christmas Party will be held on Sunday 6 December 2015. Invitations and information are on the web and on the board in Sports Room.
