From the President – October Management Committee Meeting

This morning, I wrote to all members to inform them of the decisions taken by your Management Committee at our last meeting.

Draft Program for 2017
As requested by members, your Management Committee is pleased to release our draft program for 2017. This includes all club, zone and state events and special occasions (Presentation Day, Christmas Party etc.). A downloadable version is available on the Koala Blog and will soon be updated in the Google Calendar.

Although this calendar is subject to change, it is hoped this will assist members in planning any holidays they may wish to take next year.

Competition Panel 2017
I am pleased to advise your Management Committee has appointed a new Competition Panel for 2017. Congratulations to Ross Fitzpatrick, Ross Iredale, Michael Quinlan and Michael Schwarcz on their appointment. My thanks to outgoing members of the Panel in Geoff McIntosh, Dom Surace, Kevin Tuckerman and Les Watkins for their service over a number of years.

I look forward to working with the Panel as they introduce a new training programme. Your Management Committee believes it is important for members to train to better inform their selection in a position and our club's grades for pennants.

Championships
Congratulations to our 2016 Gordon Atkins Fours finalists. The final will be played this Saturday 15 October between Steve Arnold, Ian Corke, Geoff McIntosh and Kevin Tuckerman and Michael Trimboli, Clive Donohoo, Don Stubbin and Ross Iredale.

The draw for the Triples has been completed and is on the Koala Blog.

Please be mindful of this when coming down to the club for a roll up.
