West Pennant Hills recently played host to a semi-final of the Combined High Schools bowls competition between Galston High and Asquith Girls High School.
The standard of play was very high with some of the bowlers having represented in zone and state games. Galston gained an early lead, however, not to be outdone, the girls brought the margin back to a couple of points.
Galston won 17-12 though the score does not really reflect the standard of the game. Congratulations to all players and good luck to Galston High in the final. We hope to see Asquith playing once more at West Pennant Hills.
