I played bowls today and the first thing I noticed when I walked out the club door was how well the new plants have grown. Congratulations to the gardening group who did such a wondeful job. After looking rather sad in 2013 the garden is now looking fantastic.
Cheers to Macca and his team. The plants already add to the look of the gardens. There will be plenty of colour from that lot over the coming months.
Apparently around 9.00am on Thursday 12th December Geoff had arranged for 250 seedlings to be delivered to the club for planting around the bottom green and I understand only 8 bowlers have volunteered to work on this project. If you are available to assist on Thursday and work for a couple of hours then please contact Geoff. The beauty of the green is there for ALL OF US TO ENJOY.
I would like to be there on Thursday but unfortunately I have other commitments.
