We had a full complement of 28 teams from Beecroft, Brush Park, Castle Hill, Dural Country Club, Pennant Hills, North Ryde RSL, St Johns Park, The Hills, Wenty Leagues and WPH Sports. This is the first year the tournament has been open to mixed teams and several clubs took advantage of the change in conditions.

Having received about 10mm of rain overnight, the greens were bound to be just a little on the heavy side. The weather threatened to open up on us at any time, and it did in the second game. With rain interrupting the second game with many teams having completed only 6 ends, the Match Committee decided to use scores up to the 6th end.
