In a tale of two Rosses, Ross Fitzpatrick and Ross Iredale met in the first of the quarter finals. Both bowled well and it really was a game in two halves with Ross Iredale shooting to an early lead before Ross Fitzpatrick won the mat and changed the length of the end which in turn changed the game. Ross Fitzpatrick took the game out 31-18.
Steve Arnold and Michael Schwarcz faced off in another of the quarter finals. Steve and Michael had a fairly good tussle throughout the game with Michael pull ahead only for Steve to catch back up. Ultimately, experience won out with Michael Schwarcz taking the win 31-20.
