The Leonie Hunter Rose Bowl has returned to West Pennant Hills after 9 years at Beecroft! The Rose Bowl and Trophy were donated many years ago by WPH member Leonie Hunter and the event is contested annually by WPH and Beecroft. WPH last won it in 2007 so there was a real buzz in the air as we saw the score on the master board climb. Five teams from each club played 18 ends of triples and after the 90 ends the board read WPH 117 Beecroft 63!
All games were played in excellent spirit and we look forward to the next contest to be held at Beecroft Bowling Club in 2018 when we hope to retain the trophy.
