West Pennant Hills has emerged victorious in the 2015 Orange Blossom Fesitval Cup.
We were fortunate enough to come away with a close second in the A Grade and wins in the B and C Grade to take the overall title.
Our A Grade team of Jeremy Thiedeman, Keith Robinson, David Wilson and John Leonard had two wins in the morning games including a one shot victory against Dural. However, the conditions got the better of the boys in the afternoon and they were unable to close out their game against Castle Hill. Dural went on to win the grade with a better for and against after a huge win against the Hills.
The B Grade team of Ross Fitzpatrick, Darrin Ede, Peter Eagle and Michael Quinlan were unfortunate in the morning game but came home strongly, especially in the afternoon game where they recorded a big win against Castle Hill. This was enough to get them over the line with this team taking out the B Grade.

Castle Hill is a lucky venue for WPH with the club taking out the OBF Shield last time we visited in 2011. Our thanks to Col and his team for their hospitality. Thank you also to the Hills Shire Council and Clr Dr Michelle Byrne who made the presentation of the Shield.
