On Monday 24th July, West Pennant Hills Sports Club hosted the Living Choice Carnival.
This is an annual event with six participating Bowling Clubs each hosting a Bowling Carnival sponsored by Living Choice Retirement Villages. All the bowlers who attend these carnivals enjoy them very much, and appreciate Living Choice’s continued sponsorship and support for our sport.
Although the day started with an overcast sky and a light sprinkle of rain, it didn’t dampen the spirits of the 84 Bowlers (28 Teams) competing for a range of prizes. After two games of 12 Ends the Bowlers sat down for lunch prepared and served by Sawyers Bistro.
Unfortunately, Carlie Gowenlock from Glenhaven Living Choice Retirement Village, was unable to attend because she was hosting a Living Choice Expo at Castle Hill. Rod Wright stepped up to present the winners with their prizes.
Rosemary Roles who was one of the umpires for the day, drew the winning ticket for the beautiful Living Choice supplied hamper, which was won by Janne Reynolds.
Rosemary also drew the winners of the raffle prizes supplied by WPH Sports Club which included wine and Wish Cash Cards.
