In our first external trial of the 2016 Pennant Season, WPH was victorious over Rosehill in both grades contested.
In the A Grade, only Kevin Tuckerman's team came away with a win 27-13, with Peter Eagle's team and David Wilson's team going down by 3 and 4 shots respectively. Given the new combinations being trialled and the strong side put up by Rosehill, the 62-55 win is a good result.
In the B Grade, Rosehill were assisted by two of WPH's favourite sons in Clive Donohoo and Paul van Tilburg after some late dropouts from the Rosehill side. Nevertheless, WPH always looked like winning the day with Bob Cole's team and Don Stubbin's team recording double-digit winning margins and Dallas Palm's team only going down by 3 shots. All who played in the B Grade side would be heartened by the 89-46 win.
