2018 Challenge Cup stays with Pennant Hills

A very happy Terry Rae accepting the trophy again with Ross Iredale

Pennant Hills again proved to be too strong for WPH Sports in the annual Challenge Cup. This is the seventh running of the cup introduced by former Presidents Peter Eagle (WPH SPprts) and Terry Rae (Pennant Hills).

This year we had seven rinks of triples playing at Pennant Hills BC. Pennant Hills won 5 rinks, drew 1 rink and lost 1 rink.

This year saw Pennant Hills take an early overall lead until WPH Sports gained some confidence in playing the green and the breezy conditions. For a while, WPH Sports held the lead, to be overrun in the last 15+ ends.

The overall score was a win to Pennant Hills by 20 shots.
