WPH Travelling Bowlers Caloundra Update

G’Day Bowlers

Covid is now hopefully behind us and this positive attitude has now had all previous holiday arrangements confirmed with some plusses and no negatives.

The numbers have increased since the original meeting, to a travelling group now of 44. One couple and a single have moved to Queensland to avoid travelling with this group by plane, and another couple are either walking or driving from Gosford for the same reason.

We do have some newcomers on this tour, and we are hopeful that they are not offended by the wild carry-ons of the main group, and they will stay for the complete holiday.

Our 10 days away, includes bowling for 4 days against 3 other local Clubs.

Apparently, our ability has gone before us, and I believe those Club’s are urgently seeking many Division 1 players to be able to be competitive! (Unreal).

For those not bowling, we have arranged Snakes and Ladders, Connect Four and Drafts to excite their senses. (There are some other suggestions which may replace them).

We actually do have a few exciting excursions to appeal to our whole group, which hopefully will make up for any mishaps that are likely.

A final notice re remaining monies owing will not occur for a couple of months.

Look out Sunshine Coast – here we come.
