From the President – April Management Committee Meeting

I want to extend my apologies to all members for not focusing enough time on leading our section. As members are aware, I was recently seconded from the Department of Transport to work in the Office of the Minister for Transport and Infrastructure. This new role, while infinitely more engaging and satisfying, has given me less time to spend on bowls.

I have also moved out of home just after Christmas and I am now living with my lovely girlfriend Alyssa at Northmead. As you may appreciate, this makes getting to West Pennant Hills through the week very challenging.

In the five months I have left as your President, I will endeavour to give as much as I possibly can to leading our section, ensuring its success in the future.

WPH the new home of the Zone 10 Junior Academy
I am delighted to advise members that West Pennant Hills is the new home of the Zone 10 Junior Academy. The first event on the Juniors calendar is the Zone Junior Championships which are scheduled for week beginning 10 April. While there will still be green space available for members, please be mindful of these championships. I encourage members to pop down and see the outstanding skills our Juniors will display throughout the course of the championships.

Friday Bowls
At our most recent Management Committee meeting, the prospect of more corporate bowls on a Friday was raised and whether we should considered moving the start time forward to better accommodate a corporate bowls session on a Friday afternoon. Also, with the recent changes in format, your Management Committee has decided to survey members on these matters. Please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8XBB9RC to record your vote. The survey will close at 5pm on Good Friday (14 April)

Greens Contract
Recently the call for tenders for the Greens Contract closed. Your Management Committee welcomed the opportunity to provide feedback to the Board and CEO to ensure the best outcome for bowlers. The successful tenderer will be announced in due course.

Amalgamation of Bowling SectionsThe pellet can produce a levitra samples response time of up to ten hours. Male enhancers have developed its raindogscine.com purchase generic levitra status so there is a built-in light which makes the colour hue of the Slush mixture shine in a marvellous way. The Board of the Sports Club have asked both the men's and women's bowling sections to consider amalgamation. Early meetings between myself and Anne Lucietto have been facilitated by Board members Ross Fitzpatrick and Steve Watson. These discussions are at a very early stage and I look forward to coming back to members with a full update in the near future.
