For many clubs, this is the start of the season - Pennants and the quest for a Pennant flag, firstly in Zone 10 and then moving on to State. The next few weeks will start building hopes or realistically, rebuilding for next year. But whatever happens, the Pennants competition brings hundreds of bowlers together, to compete and in a lot of cases, to make long lasting friendships.
