On Wednesday 24th August the Final of the Mixed Pairs was played. The teams were Lori Singh and Rod Wright, versus Sharon Houston and Steve Arnold.
Unfortunately, Sharon and Steve offered little resistance to Lori and Rod's onslought. After the first 4 Ends the score was 13 v 0.
The game progressed with Lori and Rod keeping the pressure on Sharon and Steve. By the 20th End the score was 31v13 making it pointless to play the last End.
Congratulations to the winners Lori and Rod, commiserations to Sharon and Steve.
