Well it’s back to bowls….

Welcome back to our favourite participation sport - Lawn Bowls.

This year we have a reasonably full programme of club championships and carnivals. We will be holding our first 3-7s Carnival on 24th March and later in the year we will hold our inaugural 5-a-side carnival (24th September). The programme for all sections can be viewed by selecting 'Calendars' from the side bar menu, followed by 'Club Events'.

We have started the year with a trials for the coming Pennant season. Last weekend we trialled against the boys from Warrawee some success. It was good to play against a team that we hadn't met before. Thanks to the boys from Warrawee for a good afternoon.

The top green is coming along well and is promising to be in top condition for the Pennant season. With the warm and humid nights of late, the bottom green is also coming along well.

We have had a couple of our boys spend some time in hospital for various reasons recently and our thoughts go out to them for quick recovery.

The Major Pairs and Fours championship entries close this Saturday so make sure you do not miss out on getting your team entered.

The Saturday morning coaching session will be put on hold from now until the end of the Pennant season. If you have a particular problem and are looking for assistance from a coach, contact Keith, Micheal, Ken or myself to arrange a session.
