The Women’s Major Singles Final was played yesterday in wonderful Spring weather. Elaine Ede was first to score then Lorraine Singh won the next 2 ends to lead 3-2. Elaine regained the lead and by end 9 was leading 7-5. Unfortunately for Elaine, 7 was not her lucky number and she stayed there for another 6 ends while Lorraine powered ahead to lead 17-7 after 15 ends. Lorraine won 4 of the next 6 ends to win the game 25-10.
