On a chilly overcast Monday morning 21st June, four teams from WPH Sports club competed in the Castle Hill Living Choice Carnival. Over the course of two games of 12 Ends, there were occasional spits of rain with a blustery cold wind.The sun did make an appearance for a brief period and we all mentioned how nice and warming it was, but the incoming dark clouds put an end to it.

The team of Kay Iredale, Lori Singh and Ross Iredale were not put off by the weather conditions and won their first game convincingly. They motored on in the second game and over powered their opponents to deliver another convincing win. This put them on top of the leader board, winning the tournament.

WPH has now won two in a row this year, the first at North Epping and now Castle Hill. We look forward to maintaining our good fortune at the next Carnival to be held at Dural on Monday 19th July 2021.
