The Ken Wighton Novice Singles is in recognition of a long-time member of the club, Ken Wighton. Ken was an avid player, representing the club in Pennants and other tournaments for many years, and winning a number of club titles.
To be eligible to compete in the 2019 Ken Wighton Novice Singles, a player must not have won any club championship event, at this or any other club.
The Ken Wighton Novice Singles is run as a round-robin with section winners progressing to the finals.
The round-robin matches are first to 12 and the final is 31 up.
