Tassie Travellers – Friday 3rd Feb

Day 8, Friday 3rd Feb 2017

Today we prepared for our 4th game of bowls during our Tasmania trip, Bicheno RSL Bowling Club.

We spent the morning touring the region and exploring the fishing town of Bicheno, some travellers took a ride in a glass bottom boat to view the marine inhabitants, others meandered about town.

After lunch we proceeding to the Bowling Club.

The non bowlers enjoyed the afternoon walking along the scenic foreshore before settling down to enjoy some wine tasting.

The panaramic views from this club while bowling were quite distracting, as they were breathtaking.

The locals were short of a few bowlers, so some of our bowlers were happy to play in their teams against WPH.

After a great afternoon of Bowls, Ross thanked the Bicheno RSL Bowling Club president Mark Oliver for hosting us and presented a plaque of appreciation.

We were treated to a fabulous gourmet roast lamb dinner with all the trimmings. All cooked and prepared by club volunteers. A wonderful effort.

Tasmania continues to surprise and delight us.
